Evening Spring Migration Bird Walk in Oakwood with Fred Leff

  • Oakwood Cemetery 160 Campus Drive Syracuse, NY, 13210 United States (map)

Join us for a Spring Bird Walk with Fred Leff in historic Oakwood Cemetery to see migratory songbirds, woodpeckers, and other bird species. Fred Leff is an environmental educator at Montezuma Audubon Center and an expert birder. Spring migration is in full swing, so we should see many different birds. Oakwood is a premier birding hotspot in Syracuse, with over 170 species observed.

The walk will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Old Greenhouse at ESF and will be about 1.5 hours long. Birdwatchers of all levels are welcome, no experience is necessary. Binoculars are available to borrow! This walk is sponsored by Onondaga Audubon and Lights Out CNY. Free & open to the public.

Spaces are limited. Please reserve you spot here — https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1zob3IWML9_albRJwKZtb0MrBZTIv8uTx43da9-RSlzE/edit?usp=sharing
